My Girl Scout troop of 12 Daisies and Brownies (ages 6 to 8) had an absolute blast making their bee robots and earning a robotics badge. The instructions were very simple to understand and they were very easily able to follow along with the leader demonstrating. The looks on their faces when they made that final connection and their bees started buzzing were unforgettable- pure delight and wonder at what they had made. My group of mechanical engineers voted YES to more Barnabas Robotics!

This project offered a great challenge to my high school homeschool students at both levels of hardware learning and integration then followed with excellent coding projects. The online curriculum allowed the students to work at their own pace and then they could build their own coding projects to have the racer perform unique stunts.

I just finished an after school club session with 22 4th and 5th graders and we built this kit. It was very engaging and fun for them to learn how to code it.

Our troop of girls absolutely loved this lesson and enjoyed seeing their robot come to life! Great lesson and video in explaining how robotics work and how they are made, all with putting that knowledge to work! Thank you from our girlscout troop!

Critter Bot (8, 12, 24, 32-Pack): Vibrating Robot Tinker Kit For Kids (Ages 6-10)

I use these motors as part of my S.T.E.A.M. Curriculum for students to use when making circuits for art bots. When Amazon shipped me an empty package (the motors must have fallen out somehow), this company was so apologetic and fixed the issue immediately by sending us replacements. Our correspondence with Edward was very friendly regarding the matter.

I ordered the kit for an activity/party favor at my kiddo's birthday party. It was a big hit with the kids. They were super excited to be "doing science". Highly recommend.
The only thing I would change is the instructions. It wasn't immediately clear where the motor and battery pack were supposed to go on the cups. Maybe a more visual guide would be useful.

We did this with our Girl Scout Troop (Ages 8 and 9) and they were wonderful! The instructions were super helpful.

I bought the critter bot kits for my Girl Scout troop (Brownies and Juniors) so we could begin the robotics badges. They were super fun to make, and very adorable! I think the pricing is great, especially since I go a discount for my bulk purchase, and I appreciate that the kits contain everything you need. The curriculum materials were a bonus, and would be great for people who lack STEM skills and knowledge, but who still want to explore these topics with kids. Overall, I am very pleased with the critter bots and I'm recommending these kits to everyone I know who might like to use them.

My Kindergarten Daisy troop built these as part of their robot badge! They could follow the steps with minimal assistance! They had so much fun making their robots "dance" and had a dance party with them after they were all built! Hight recommend!

I got these for the kids to complete during my son's robot themed birthday party, and the kids love them. I would definitely suggest having adult helpers around if you have a lot of littles, but it's pretty simple to put them together. The kids had a great time playing with them after.
